GM Developments are proud sponsors of Childline's annual festive concert. We have been a sponsor since 2023 and are especially pleased to be part of the 2026 40th anniversary Christmas Concert and Gala Dinner at St Paul’s Cathedral — a magical evening packed with traditional Christmas carols, spectacular musical performances and celebrity special guests.

GM Developments are happy to make a donation in support of the children of the Eleanor Palmer School when they took part in a run in order to raise money for their school which is close to our development site in Highgate.

GM Developments are proud to be the headline sponsor for Maggie's annual gala ball, a wonderful event which raises vital funds for Maggie's at the Royal Marsden in Sutton. We have been the headline sponsor since 2023 and have been working with Maggie's at the Royal Marsden for over six years, supporting this fantastic charity and the important work they do.

GM Developments and GM London jointly sponsor the Risborough Rangers U13 football team. This season (2024/25) they have won the league and will be taking on the adults in the annual Adults vs Players match at the Presentation Evening in June which unfortunately will have to be scaled back due to Covid.

For a number of years GM Developments has made an annual donation to The Little Sisters of the Poor who provide residential care for low-income elderly people aged 60 and over. Although a religious community, they accept applicants from everyone including married couples and believe in this society it's so important to support to any of their carers. They are a great deal of their fund raising and it is a pleasure to help them continue their valuable work.

GM Developments and GM London jointly sponsored a new cycling challenge organised by the Maggie's Centres charity who provide invaluable cancer care support to families.
This support has been even more important this year due to the impact of Covid 19. As with other charities the constraints coronavirus put on fund raising affected Maggie's so it was especially gratifying that the bike ride was able to take place between the two lockdowns!
A joint GM Developments and GM London team of six volunteered to take part choosing the 40 mile route around the Surrey Hills including Box Hill, starting and finishing at Box Hill School. A huge thank you to everyone who kindly made donations to our just giving page, the day raised just over £25,000 which will go towards the running of the centre based at the Royal Marsden in Surrey.
In 2021 we did it again and our team donned lycra once more for Maggies, a charity that unfortunately most families will have need of at some point. The support and advice they give to patients and families cannot be praised enough.

To celebrate GM Developments 30th anniversary we hosted a party at The Royal Hospital, Chelsea, home of the Chelsea Pensioners. This provided an excellent opportunity to catch up with people we have worked with over the years both on a client and professional basis.
The wonderful surroundings, good food and wine and fabulous weather all accompanied by a string quartet meant a great time was had by all. It has been an eventful journey and it will be exciting to see what the future holds.

GM Developments are proud to support Maggie’s Cancer Care based at The Royal Marsden.
Maggie’s is a charity founded by Maggie and Charles Jencks. Using her own experience of living with Cancer and wanting to create a new type of care for those diagnosed with cancer and their families the charity now has centres around the UK providing support and professional help covering treatment side effects, stress and money worries amongst other things.
To quote Maggie Jencks “Above all what matters most is not to lose the joy of living in the fear of dying”
We sponsored the centres Christmas Party in December 2019 and the official opening by the charity’s President HRH The Duchess of Cornwall in February 2020 and were lucky enough to be invited to the event.
We are also sponsoring the Surrey Cycle Ride around the Surrey Hills that has been postponed to October 2020 due to Covid 19. The upside is it will give our team of riders more time to train for either the 80 or 40 mile route.

We have also made another donation to the The Red Rubber Ball’s 100 Club that works with young children in Kenya. Our donation will help them open more clubs in other areas including rural villages.
The project keeps young kids off the streets of Nairobi in the Kibera slums. We teach them to ride a bike, how to maintain their bikes, then take them on rides at weekends and in school holidays. The only rule is that children must attend school if they are to join the club.
Attendance has increased; children have formed new friends; they are staying out of trouble and away from drugs, gangs, glue sniffing, crime etc. They are learning new skills, have learned to share and work together. And they’re having fun.

GM Developments are proud to be a part of the Red Rubber Ball Foundation’s 100 Club, which gives children and community leaders in the poorest parts of Kenya the chance to escape poverty.
Donations from the 100 Club have helped to cover all travel, accommodation and venue costs for the foundation’s 2014 ‘Anything is Possible’ workshop, with 62 sponsored children in Nairobi, and enabled 15 young Kenyans to take part in ‘Mpango Kiongozi’ – the Leaders Challenge – to climb Kilimanjaro.
Since 2016, The 100 Club has allowed the foundation to build a fund to offer interest-free, but repayable, student loans so that sponsored students can continue their studies on to university and college.
Being born in Kenya Chris Frome was interested in what the foundation are doing, especially the cycle club and he has been given one of their jerseys. We are told he is delighted with it.

Garry, our Managing Partner, completed this challenge with his daughter, Rosie, and raised £3,000 for charity. They would like to thank all clients, staff and subcontractors who kindly donated, it is hugely appreciated.

It was our pleasure to sponsor the Team Finlay charity, which is led by the amazing Finlay himself! Finlay is a local young boy who has Retinitis Pigmentosa, an inherited disease that means he is slowly going blind. However, this has not stopped him from living life to the full and carrying out vital fund raising for research that is currently happening at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

Our Managing Partner, Garry, undertook this mammoth fund raising challenge in 2014. His chosen charity was Trinity Hospice, and he managed to raise £7,000 for this extremely worthy cause. He would like to say a huge thank you to our clients, staff and subcontractors for their generous donations.
